Xstream develops software for managing Online Video Platforms, called MediaMaker. Our software is used by several major media companies and enterprises for managing video on multiple platforms, and is the foundation of several major Internet TV and VOD services in Scandinavia, Europe and US. Among our customers you’ll find Fuhu, Jyllands-Posten, Disney, Ekstra-Bladet, Canal Digital, AltiBox, SBS Discovery, SBs Belgium, Schibsted, Polaris, and many more.
Our Main office is located in central Copenhagen, and we have a Development center in Poland, Warsaw, as well as a North American sales office.
Xstream is undergoing rapid development, and therefore we are looking for an energetic, structured and hardworking IT-Project Manager for our office in Copenhagen, to help our skilled developers deliver the best video streaming software in the world.
The position:
You become a part of the project management team, who has a strong focus on IT-project management of customer oriented software development. You will be working closely with our clients and our highly skilled development teams in Warsaw. All of us very passionate about software development, and motivated by developing some of the most recognized online VOD services on Web, Smartphones, Tablets, Set Top Boxes and Connected TV Platforms.
You get an exciting and dynamic workday, where you participate in the development of our client solutions, in close cooperation with our Warsaw office. You will be the main contact for our clients in relation to their projects, and have a daily dialogue with your counterpart in our Warsaw based development department regarding status, estimates and clarifications.
You are expected to be able to discuss, analyze and evaluate projects on a technical level with clients and developers – and therefore a technical background is considered as highly important asset, as well as your flair for customer contact, business understanding and project structure.
You must have the following qualifications:
Fluent in Danish OR Norwegian (spoken and written)
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Several years of experience with project management of software development
Experience with client relations (preferably international client relations)
Experience with SCRUM/Agile processes
Ability to present complex problems in a well structured and easy-to-understand manner
An ambition to be the best at what you do and to make world class products
A strong commitment to agreements and deadlines
A strong understanding of technology and software development
A good understanding of business driven project management
An ambition to do world class account management
