About the job:
For our game MovieStarPlanet.com, we are looking for a talented full-time server administrator with a professional attitude and good technical abilities. Your job will be to develop, maintain and optimize the rapidly groving server infrastructure for our website (currently 50+ servers).
The job includes installing and patching servers, assuring rock solid backup/failover procedures, improving our monitoring system and helping our development team optimize our platform performance (IIS and SQL). Some standby duty will be required. You will be responsible for one of the biggest budgets in the company.
About you:
You must have atleast 5 years experience with administrating a large number of servers. A good knowledge of Windows Servers and MS SQL Server is required and knowledge about optimizing IIS and SQL would be a plus. Knowledge about securing publicly available servers through firewalls, VPNs etc. is also required. You love the idea of “why doing things manually if we can automize them”, so knowledge about scripting would be a plus.
